I've never been to the US but have developed a real appreciation for the US urban landscape genre. Perhaps because I was first exposed to it when I went to art school in the 70's. A favourite for me is Lee Friedlander, there are aspects of your work that remind me of his and indeed some of the iconic (Aust) Grant Mudford US urban landscapes. These images are at once snaps and highly organised and calculated captures which I think is a common thread in the urban landscape genre. I love the myriad of alignments and juxtapositions that occur in this type of work. Order from chaos.
