I think you are getting somewhere with these. The commercial world of baby/child photography has almost taken complete ownership of the naked baby and parent photo and the new-born in the palm of the hand shot (see any AIPP collection or any portrait studio website. There is the aded pressure to always try come up with a new angle, something original. I think what I see in these compared to the cold commercial work is a warmth between you and the subjects. The shots that I think are working more strongly are from the top down; babies and wool, father and child (just below the wool); the hanging baby in the fabric, the two fathers and babies laying left and right and the very last because of its simplicity and honesty.
